Community Counts
Giving back to the community through charitable organisations is just one of the ways Count helps those who are less fortunate achieve their dreams and goals in life.

In 06/07, the Count Charitable Foundation donated more than $600,00 to a wide range of charities across Australia.

Count Charitable Foundation
In May 2004, Count launched the Count Charitable Foundation, which is recognised by the Australian Tax Office as a public charitable trust.

The objectives of the Count Charitable Foundation are to:
Accumulate capital to allow us to increase the amount of donations we make over time; and
Provide an easy and accessible way for Count staff, advisers and clients to realise their charitable intentions.

The Count Charitable Foundation received initial contributions of $500,000 from Count Financial Limited and $1 million from the ‘Count’ family.

Noel Davis, a well-known Lawyer/Barrister practising in Sydney, has been appointed Chairman of the Trustee Company. Noel has advised on superannuation, tax and life insurance issues for more than 25 years.

An Advisory Panel has been established to make recommendations to the Trustee as to the beneficiaries of annual donations.

Count Financial Limited has traditionally donated to charity or environmental groups at our Annual Conference and throughout the year.
