Independent
Our rigorous and proven research process ensures that only those investments with the highest ratings are included on our Approved Products List (APL), which is designed to provide clients with investment products that can deliver above average returns, reduced risk and superior service. Our research process utilises Lonsec Research a specialist research company, to provide unbiased information on investments.

Our disciplined approach has ensured that the investment failures and corporate collapses over the last few years such as Westpoint, Fincorp, Australian Capital Reserve, Basis Capital, and numerous unlisted property syndicates have never been on our APL.

Remuneration model

Up to 100% income split
Members can retain up to 100% of initial and ongoing advice fees they charge to clients via our approved platforms.
Fee waivers and cash rebates
As Members progressively build their businesses to specified levels, the annual fee is waived and cash rebates are paid

Professional development
Count holds regular professional development training Australia-wide using multiple delivery methods including conferences, workshops and internet-based solutions. We provide a three-day annual conference, two one-day conferences held in July and October in each capital city (and some regional centres), workshops, webinars and online training. Our training covers all areas of our Members’ businesses including technical, strategy, compliance, practice management, marketing, business development and software and is tailored to meet the needs and requirements of the different skill sets within our Membership.

Unlimited business support
Members have access to our Member Services and Business Development teams for unlimited advice on any business related matter.

Unlimited technical support from specialist managers
Members have access to our Technical Team and Product Managers for unlimited advice and technical support.

Marketing assistance
Members have access to an enormous array of marketing material including: brochures, letters, flyers, advertisements, professionally printed newsletters (Count Report), posters and signage to make promoting financial planning services simple and effective. All our marketing materials have been developed with an understanding of how our Members’ businesses operate and the strong relationship they have with their clients.

Business Development Support
Each Member firm is allocated an experienced Business Development Manager who works in conjunction with the firm to help them grow and develop their business.

Innovative internet solutions
Our team can help Members develop an effective web solution or build on their existing website. Clients can access up-to-date portfolio valuations via ‘My Net Wealth’ and a series of investment reports (badged with the individual firm’s details) all from the Member’s Count badged website, as well as other products and services that may assist with the client’s financial needs.

Paraplanning Service
Members can outsource their ‘Advice documents’ to Count’s experienced Paraplanning Team, with the opportunity to have the paraplanning fee rebated, therefore effectively accessing a ‘free service’.

This is a cost effective way of servicing clients, avoiding the need to hire, train and manage additional staff in their office, or just manage workflow effectively during busy times. This service is one of a number of ‘outsourcing options’ available which can be utilised to greatly assist in the provision of services to clients and general business growth.

Working with Accountants in public practice, we have expanded our offering over time to not just include financial planning solutions, but also provide a range of key services that will add value to our Members’ core business – accounting and tax services - via SUPERCentral, CountGPS and Class Super.

SUPERCentral is an online deed service for Members’ SMSF clients providing an efficient solution to providing and maintaining an up-to-date continuously compliant deed for their clients.
CountGPS provides Members with the best available document precedents, letters, reports, worksheets, and processes to improve the efficiency and profitability of their accounting practice.
Class Super provides an efficient solution for SMSF administration, fund reporting, auditing and compliance.
